I didn’t know he was going for an even darker ending

Deuce Knight was awarded his All-American jersey at his school last week.

So our 11 year old pup was shaking his head a lot last week and pulled away when I tried to look in ears. Took him to vet and they did a cytology and found I guess bacteria or infection in there. Gave him a cytopack (?) and it knocked out the shaking but within a day, he was/is deaf. No response to trigger words like "Riley", "love", "treat" or "walk". Took him back yesterday and they flushed the ears and said his timpanic membranes are intact. They're aAta loss as to whether this is permanent and total or if he'll regain hearing. Any vets have experience with this? TIA

TLDR, healthy dog is now deaf, we are sad and very concerned.

So, against my better judgement I'm going to see if we can have a discussion about this without it turning into a typical name calling fest on here. It won't work, but I'll try anyway--

How much of an impact do you guys think running as a female has on the results? My wife and I were discussing this morning how it's interesting that both of Trump's victories are over women. Now, before you Trump lovers jump all over me-- I don't think that being female is why Kamala lost. I guess I'd simply ask it this way-- in a hypothetical election with two evenly matched candidates do you guys think gender would play a role? Would being female cost someone votes? Does being male garner more votes? I simply think it's interesting to think about.

And we kept our 2nd best player and veteran in CHAD.
