Also, he is clearly a brilliant immunologist well recognized in the field, but has only been recently attacked because of the truth he was willing to tell about COVID and the jabs.

I wish there was a way to affix @mrhickory 's response to this post at the very top to help prevent the dumb from spreading further.

Alas, there are always those who seek to find one pseudo-credible person to hang all their tinfoil hat lunacy upon.
This would be a great idea. Every post by anti-vaxxer nuts like @TBFan and @Auburn93 should also automatically generate a warning label which points out the actual doctors on the board, like Mr. H, have debunked all of their idiotic lies.

Do you realize how belligerently ignorant you prove yourself to be in every one of these threads where you contradict a doctor like Mr. H who has infinitely more knowledge of this topic than you?
I'm not contradicting anyone, I just thought it would be more authoritative if he discredited Dr Maline's argument rather than just try to discredit the person.

Malone is a quack just like all of the other charlatans you have cited over the past 2 years as you spread dangerous lies about COVID and the vaccines. That's why he lies about having "invented" MRNA vaccines because he knows there are fools like you out there who will hear that and instantly believe he is some sort of brave genius. Meanwhile, nuts like you and @TBFan expect us to believe that the 99% of doctors who believe the vaccines are safe and effective (including Mr. H and every other doctor on this board) are all part of some vast plot to deceive the public.

Why do you always resort to calling people names? I've watched you do it for months. It is strange and sad.

I had not even read this post yet that includes more name calling. Geez man. Please stop. Just post your opinion without the constant name calling.

The people I am referring to have worked very hard to earn those names. "Anti-vaxxer nut" is an accurate way to describe someone who is belligerently ignorant enough to attempt to lecture an actual doctor on medical issues, as we have seen ITT and countless others over the last 2 years.

Na man. You are just a grown man calling people names on a college sports message board for having opinions that do not align with your own. It has gone on too long. I wish the mods would put an end to these threads.

Every person on this board is entitled to post their opinion. It's my opinion that anyone who tries to lecture a doctor on medical issues is a nut who deserves to be mocked. People who post idiotic sports takes on the board also get mocked. If that upsets you, message boards may not be a good way for you to spend your time.

I never said it upset me. Name calling is just an odd way to make an argument. It's your thing. I get it. You probably do not even realize you do it so much.
You have just made a half dozen posts whining about it so clearly it upsets you pretty badly. I look forward to seeing you police every thread on the board whenever someone gets mocked for a dumb sports take. With you in charge as the civility police, I am sure no one will ever take heat again for posting something idiotic.

Deaths from Covid per 1,000.000
Congo, Japan, Pakistan,Korea about 35-50
USA. 2,100. Thank you Dr Fauci for the vaccines
Antarctic scientists 100 per cent vaxed
70 percent have Covid.
My friend in Pensacola that had a stroke Friday night, he would like to have a few words with Fauci as soon as he’s able to walk again

Honest question, do you believe that just because 99% of the doctors believe that vaccines are safe, they don't cause harm to anyone taking them? My concern is what that percentage is and why doesn't the government examine it?

Do you think that 99% of the doctors thought Zantac was safe? What about Seldane or Duract?

I have a family member that was hospitalized and then wheelchair-bound within 24 hours of taking the vaccine last summer. He thankfully recovered after several weeks of therapy. I personally have had the vaccine (and COVID) and have encouraged others to get the vaccine, but I understand and appreciate that there are differing opinions and beliefs. I certainly do not think those who question the vaccine or an anonymous doctor on a college sports message board are automatically "anti-vaxxer nuts" whose opinions are "idiotic."

I’m only guessing here but I believe you’re anti-vax and that’s why you’re offended. I get called names daily on here but I haven’t witnessed you chastise anybody for that (I call people names too).

Uhhhhh, the Gvt examines every case. The percentage is so low that it’s barely measurable.

Nope. I’ve had the vaccine and have encouraged others to get it. Guess again.

I’m sorry he’s calling someone names, but in reality, if someone is an anti-covid vaccine crazy person, then fvck their feelings. I’ll call them whatever I choose, because their actions could be persuasive to vulnerable people making their minds up about the vaccine’s safety and effectiveness.

I say this as my brother-in-law’s 82 year old father, who is staunchly against the vaccine, is currently hospitalized with covid induced pneumonia. I pray to GOD he comes out of this alive, but this likely wouldn’t be happening had he not bought in to the anti-covid vaccine conspiracies.

That "anonymous doctor" has been here throughout this crisis giving us valuable, first hand information to cut through the lies spread by folks like those I called out above. Any non-doctor who wants to put their "opinion" on a medical issue ahead of Mr. H or any of the other doctors who have been kind enough to share their expertise during this crisis deserves to be called out and mocked for their hubris.

Then why choose this thread to decide to defend those being called names? I don’t believe you.

I have not attempted to defend those being called names. I called out @DM8 for his style of posts that include repeated name calling of posters that do not align with his beliefs. I have noticed his style over the past several months because he shows up in many COVID-19 threads. It is frankly just weird and a weak way to argue about a topic he is clearly invested in and cares about. I love his basketball posts BTW.

I made my point. There is nothing more to it and I do not intend to respond further regarding this issue. Thanks.

Nailed it. These nuts are spreading lies which put the lives at risk of anyone dumb enough to listen to them. It speaks volumes about @hchtiger that he sees no problem with anyone promoting dangerous misinformation, yet gets extremely upset over anyone who calls out folks for it.

Is your brother in law vaccinated?

Congrats on your appointment as the board's new civility cop. Every time I see someone mocking another poster for offering a dumb take or otherwise being less than polite, I'll be tagging you to come in and lay down the law.

Yea, name calling from both sides in Covid threads but never saw you jump in before. I guess your ok with death bros, sheep, etc. Again, I don’t believe you. Your defense is based on defending those that either line up with you on politics or the vaccine.

I just don’t get it. The only people (3 of them) I know who have been hospitalized with covid have been very much against getting vaccinated. It upsets me because two of these people I truly care about as family (both in-laws)

Wrong. Adverse effects are reported voluntarily. A Harvard study estimates only 5 percent are reported to CDC

Wrong. As the Dr on here has said, EVERY ADVERSE REACTION to the vaccines are reported by Dr’s and then investigated. They are required to report them.

Agreed. The sad reality is that those folks likely would have taken the vaccine had they not been influenced by lies spread by the anti-vaxxer quack promoted by OP and folks like tbfan and auburn93. I have zero patience for people who are actively trying to get more people killed because they are part of a wacko anti-medicine cult. Those people deserve to be mocked and I could care less whether it upsets the delicate sensibilities of the board's new civility cop, @hchtiger. Can't wait to see him wade into every sports thread demanding anyone slinging insults at someone who offers an embarrassing take cease and desist immediately.

Next door neighbors ex husband died a month after receiving the 2nd pfizer vaccination back in the spring. Admitted to the hospital with pneumonia and died two weeks later from sepsis. Died of sepsis not the vaccine, sepsis. Interesting and somewhat coincidental huh? Think this is an isolated incident?

Yes, it is coincidence. I feel terrible for them, however.
