Covid Deaths in Alabama last three days

Fair.

It's also frustrating to be accused of being happy about people dying. At no point in any of my ramblings over the last few weeks have I ever implied anything of the sort ... even while being repeatedly mocked and called a "death bro".

The people that mock those that are dying aren't the ones posting numbers ... they're the ones that complain about masks, say that the risk is over, call people "fats and olds" and then go in and offer "thoughts and prayers" to those on the board that are losing family members to this virus.

I've already addressed how I don't think a single person on this board is rooting for deaths.

I also wear a mask when I'm out or I don't call people fat and olds.

I do think you can be concerned about the virus without having a doomsday mentality. I don't think the virus/state/country in its current state should call for panic mode. It's a virus and we need to deal with it. But we also don't need to shut everything down to deal with it. We can't live a life in fear and want to shut everything down until we get a vaccine.

I don't want anyone to die from any virus. I do want people to take precautions.

People who refuse to wear a mask just as bad, and I think the whole purpose of it is because they are being asked or told to. I don't agree with that thought process

Quit coming across as giddy to post bad news to help your argument.

Not sure who the poster is, but I'll be praying for his father.

Who doesn't have respect for those dealing with this. Does making stuff up just come natural for you?

I can’t quit “coming across” a certain way to a simpleton who wants me to “come across” a certain way in order to help continue his shitty narrative.

Get it?

I can assure you that nobody is “giddy...” so give it a rest.

Just stop coming across as giddy, and all will be good.

That and slow down with the roid rage

Nailed it. Every thread plays out the same way. Any information that is less than 100% positive causes the usual suspects to pitch a fit over it not fitting their narrative. With any situation like this, there is always going to be positive and negative news. Deaths going down would be great news. Unfortunately, anyone who has followed this situation knows that a 3 day period over the weekend is not reliable to establish any trend due to the lag in reporting.

Record numbers of cases with a rising percentage of positive tests along with drastically increasing hospitalizations are all negative trends. Hopefully this does not translate to a continued rise in deaths. As Mr. H pointed out a couple of days ago, he and other doctors have learned a lot over the last few months and thus they are much better at treating COVID now which will hopefully continue to save many lives that might have otherwise been lost in March or April.

"[C]ontinued rise in deaths." This is why people poke fun at you on here. Death rates nationwide have declined for months. That is not debatable. Nonetheless, you suggest there could be a "continued rise in deaths." Geez.

Takes a real big man to troll while people on the board have family members who are suffering. Be proud.

We will add troll and trolling to the list of words you don't understand how to use

I havent trolled once

I was just pointing out your giddiness. I didn't have to think it. You posted the giddiness.

You sound like you are very upset with yourself. Hopefully you can get a handle on it

Nah, I’ve just had enough of trash like yourself making jokes about this while people on the board are living through real tragedy.

You haircut bros have already run a few good posters off with this crap... I guess it just doesn’t get old for you.

You keep lying and making yourself look very unintelligent.

This roid rage is kind of funny though

This argument cracks me up every time it hits the bunker (every day)... The goal posts move so much for each side.

Once this thing became inherently political any rational argument of facts went out the window.

What am I lying about, big boy? Put up or shut up.

Roid rage? Are you going to get so butthurt that you start an entire thread about me again?

I don't have to bring your roid rage to the board. Its here for the board to see.

percentage of deaths to total tested and total cases has been steadily declining. In alabama we are now under 2% (.02)for deaths to positive cases and at .21% (.0021) for total tested

This is a pitiful quibbling effort at deflection. Deaths have increased for the last 2 weeks. Yesterday was the highest since May. Cases and hospitalizations have been going up since Labor Day so it should surprise no one that deaths have followed suit. "Continued" is obviously the correct term to describe it if deaths increase again this week.

This is pathetic even by your embarrassing standards of late. No one would be happier than @00aubie if our country had mounted an effective response to this crisis and deaths were now at minimal levels just as they are in many countries around the world. You and the other downplayers have grown progressively more unhinged over being wrong about this crisis at every turn. Rather than just admitting you have been wrong, you resort to saying the experts and the people who listened to them are all hoping more people die. Nothing could be more illogical given that if those people had gotten their way, drastically fewer people would be dying today. Other countries have proven it was very possible to get COVID under control. What is happening in the US was not inevitable.

Nothing could be more illogical than claiming the people who wanted to take the steps necessary to stop COVID before it got out of control were all actually hoping it killed a maximum number of people.

What specifically have I been wrong about?

I'll add you to the giddy list

Cases have gone down the last couple of days.

7 day average is less than what it was last Wednesday.

While deaths reported today rose, deaths over the last week are down

The CDC says you’re wrong: https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/nvss/vsrr/covid19/index.htm

You are wrong to claim anyone on his board is "giddy" about people dying. Only the most despicable piece of shit would accuse anyone on this board of wanting more people to die. We have folks on this board who have lost loved ones. There are also many others, like me, who have multiple family members in a high risk category that would be unlikely to survive if they contract COVID. @00aubie's posts on this topic have made it clear he would have been very happy to see our country among those who mounted an effective response and reduced the death toll from COVID to a minimal level. You are embarrassing yourself by resorting to claiming he or anyone wants more people to die.

As I have clearly stated (you didn't read all my post or you just choose to pick and choose for your strawman argument), I don't think anyone want people to die.

But carry on with your stupidity. You pull it off so well

This will be the third week in a row deaths are up barring a great Wednesday thru Friday (Saturday to Friday).
