COVID Thread: It’s sad that USA isn’t pushing personal fitness and being less fat

Plus, believe it or not, you get a lot of exercise tailgating. It’s hot af, you’re standing all day, and walking around… you probably burn 1000 calories for a night game in early October.

This point is well taken. I'm diabetic and when we went on vacation I was worried about counting my carb calories and getting off my diet. Instead, I lost like 6 lb because all we did the whole time was hike in the mountains, kayak and white water raft, and swim, and then on the "easy" days we walked all over Asheville. Didn't matter what I ate. Sugar never popped 150 even after meals and felt great whole time, even after drinking craft brew all night.
