Kind of stagnant effort thus far ...

Uncharacteristically lazy passing and a good bit of standing around, credit Mizzou for really defending us well. Thankfully we're shooting it well. Mizzou came to play, and it looks to me as if we expected them to roll over just a little bit from our body language.

I trust Bruce will get it right. I expect to see us play a lot sharper in the 2nd half.

With Walker gone, Arnold in, and HEW wants a 4 QB room, why not Kaidon Salter?

Complete purge of the QB room was not on my bingo card.

I was never high on Salter as a likely QB1, but with the QB room cleared of all development in Hugh’s system, Salter may make sense to complement / compete with Arnold.

Salter has 5,887 passing yards and 56 passing touchdowns in his collegiate career. He’s a dual threat as well, rushing for over 2,000 yards and 21 touchdowns in his career.

Not sure how gettable Salter is, and Colorado is giving him a look. But landing a talented QB who has a skill set is harder with Arnold signing. If we could pull Mendoza that would sizzle.

So Deuce, Arnold, and Salter would leave HEW needing one more. Hmmmm. Who you got? A promising kid from a mid-major?

I couldn't have told you who the ND HC was before last night...

I just didn't know anything about Marcus Freeman, but have now looked at his resume after noticing how well coached and prepared his team look dismantling ugaly last night.
Seems he's done really well taking over there after Kelly.
I'm impressed with his accomplishments there and the way his team and staff performed last night. They appeared just as physical or more so than athens and coached a better game I thought.

I'll be hoping to see them whip that POS Franklin.
