A discussion ... Auburn's best men's basketball player (offense) ...

This one is certain to have some opinions.

Most famous/most notable: Charles Barkley. Not sure there is another comparison. If JB goes to the NBA, has a notable career, and never loses touch with AU and becomes a de facto statesman for the Auburn basketball program for 40 years or more, one day he might attain near Barkley status.
Best scorer: By most metrics Chuck Person...but consider John Mengelt who only played 3 seasons for Auburn, only 25 games each season and averaged 25ppg over his career(!)
Best shooter: Depends upon what you're into - from distance? Wesley Person (41% from 3 for a career). Clutch distance shooter? Gotta go with Bryce Brown there.
Swiss Army Knife offensive player: Aaron Swinson.

Thoughts?

For the Praying types, I need some prayers.

In late November my Step-Nephew had surgery on his heart to repair a tear in it. He is 15 years old, plays football up in Johnson City, TN. The surgery on his heart went well but there were other complications from after the surgery.

In order to get to his heart they had to break his rib/sternum and over the last month he has been in so much pain just from breathing and the slightest little movements. His doctors are concerned at how slow his ribs/sternum are healing in someone his age.

Since I'm able to work remote I'm headed up that way New Years Day to watch him for about a week, but my Step-Brother and his wife have use all their leave and have to go back to work on the 2nd.

So everyone pray for my safe travels from Columbus, GA to Johnson City, TN and also pray that that sweet boy starts to heal faster and the pain goes away. We hate seeing him in so much pain and in tears just from being awake.
