RECRUITING Quarterback update…

I have it on good authority that Auburn is hoping to get Jackson Arnold to visit later this week and that one is expected.

However, keep in mind that these things constantly change. It’s not guaranteed until he gets on campus.

Other QBs I’m monitoring include Stanford transfer Ashton Daniels, who I like Auburn’s chances with the most. (I’d consider him a tier two QB - meaning not a starter but a solid backup). I’m also keeping an eye on Wisconsin transfer Tyler Van Dyke and Duke transfer Maalik Murphy.

New intel: Auburn is expected to host Murphy on a visit Wednesday.

Auburn will sign two transfer QBs this cycle to get to four scholarship QBs, as @BryanMatthews has noted in his tracking the transfers.

HOOPS GAME THREAD | Auburn vs. Purdue

Hello, folks. Auburn and Purdue are set to do battle in Birmingham in about 15 minutes or so. I, like Johni Broome, am fighting a shoulder injury on my non-dominant arm. Unlike me, Johni will be playing and starting in today's game that airs on ESPN.
Starting-5:

G - Denver Jones
G - Miles Kelly
F - Chad Baker-Mazara
F/C - Johni Broome
C - Dylan Cardwell

RECRUITING SIGNED: Jackson Arnold

Jackson Arnold has no other visit plans following his trip to Auburn — he's not visiting Mississippi State. It's at this point in time I expect Arnold to sign with Auburn.

UPDATE: I'm told that Jackson Arnold has SIGNED with Auburn.

FOOTBALL Good news regarding Malcolm Simmons (12-20-24)

A source indicates that slot receiver Malcolm Simmons has agreed to a new NIL deal. He will remain with the Tigers.

HUGE news considering Auburn's pursuit of Georgia Tech transfer Eric Singleton Jr., who also plays slot receiver. Auburn feels like these two speedsters can co-exist and actually thrive together. Simmons is on board with that idea.
