Finally got around to watching it. Me and the wife are now on episode 4. It’s pretty disappointing. Not really feeling the whole “supernatural” thing they’re trying to force. Season 1 is much more subtle with it.
All of the characters except Navarro seem weak minded and goofy.
Is that the wheels could come off this season. Especially if Jaylin is out or has to miss extended time. Losing to UK sucks, but they’re ultra talented. The way it went down, being at home, and JWill suffering an injury is really concerning though.
The biggest game of the 2019 season was at a mediocre UGA. We barely won and launched our run. We are off midweek and then go to Athens next weekend. We will see what happens.
Quote from Bruce after the game. Look, it’s not all on Bruce that Aden was supposed to be a shooter and is struggling right now but small guards and poor shooting has been a theme for a bit now. And some of it is elite guards are in high demand and we simply won’t get them most of the time bc they will go to Kansas or Duke. But I hope Brice does change it up some and either recruit bigger guards from high school or target some shooters in the portal. The caveat is that they have to be willing to play defense and some won’t come bc of that either. But smaller guards that don’t shoot well has been a limiting factor. Elite guard play is a premium and it’s not easy. And it’s not like we have been bad and it hasn’t worked with small guards. But it took an elite shooter and PG that played with Bruce for 3 or 4 years and a hot team in 2019. But it has limited us during big games and the tournament. Especially when we had Jabari and Kessler.
If Bruce wants to continue to recruit the smaller guards then I will support it bc it’s taken AU basketball to a level we haven’t been to before but I think it’s fair to say it is a limiting factor more times than not when it matters the most.

Away one’s don’t matter. As always are problems are covered up by the magic of Neville arena and in February we jump off a cliff and eventually trip into March in a wheelchair waiting to be put down.
Obvious disappointment. Obvious. What I never expected was a complete let down at home. That crowd was there since freaking Wednesday. Our basketball team did NOT show up not at all. UK is good, not great. No way we lose that game if our team focuses. wtf! Disappointed. A lot. Pussies.
that's not even close to the issue. We simply missed a huge number of wide open shots and chippy's that we normally never miss at home. We had plenty of good shots. We also played pretty good aggressive D. They just made a bunch of tough shots.
Playing most of second half without Jaylin and Tre just eliminated any chance we had of making a comeback. We were completely out of sync as our rotations were all messed up.
We just need to pick up a win on the road to offset this loss. Lotta games left to be played.
Great time for an open week to rest up, and hopefully get Jaylin well.
Of course I expect the usually doom and gloom, season is over BS posts, cause Bunk gonna Bunk.
