The fact of the matter is that JB is at best a 2nd round pick, but could very easily be a non drafted Free Agent pick up. His game continues to need a lot of work that could be addressed by staying at AU with an extremely competitive NIL package - let's say around the $750k. For AU this would be the best recruitment of the 5 position for next season, by far!

Broome's game is a work in progress and maybe he just wants to move on. I can understand that reasoning but will he be happy playing in the G League, or most likely some European venue. Bruce needs to be completely candid about Johni's strengths and weaknesses as they relate to the NBA game. This conversation needs to happen sooner rather than later.

It’s killed AU for the last 4 years. Double digit leads fall to long series of wasted possessions, allow a hot shooter to close the gap, get in fouls trouble, lose in crunch time. Same damn equation. It’s sad bc I truly believe last week this team played like the best team in the country.
