I talked to two separate people today who were extremely discouraged. One was having financial hardships and the other marital issues. I spent a little time with both individuals and allowed them to share their story. Life can hit you hard and do it very fast. With all that being said, they both needed to know they were loved and with God there’s always hope.
I really don’t know why I’m sharing this with you guys except the fact that someone on the Bunker probably needs some encouragement. Hang in there, don’t give up and keep your eyes on Jesus. He loves you and he cares for you. Press on, fight the good fight and keep the faith. With your eyes on the Lord, he will take care of you in one way or the other.

I love you, but more importantly, God does.

I'm guiding two friends this week that have never turkey hunted once in their life. This is the first one, a buddy who is getting into hunting for the first time and doesn't even own a shotgun. I let him use my Dad's 870 Wingmaster and he wearing my camo. Young bird, 10 inch beard, 1 inch spurs. Needless to say, he was thrilled. Just one more to close it out.

One other thing….Hugh needs to protect his face from the sun a lot better….he’s going to wind up like me and my brother…I’m going in in 90 minutes for my 10th MOHS surgery on my face for skin Cancer….my brother, 17 months younger than me, just had his 18th MOHS surgery last week…..but he did work in the sun a lot, training seeing eye dogs and dogs for other serious jobs for 47 years…
