Vaccination Article

This paper suggests there may be a link between vaccination of our children and the development of autism. Studies done from documented procedures aren't the best way to show correlation or causation, but it does have sufficient data to warrant more studies. What is glaring is that this article can not be found in PubMed or Google Scholar. I don't think anyone will publish it and it can't be found with a direct Google search without digging. This shows that the powers that be don't want this kind of information out there. Whether the information is true or not is irrelevant, but everyone should be up in arms about suppressing or controlling health narratives. Our health should be paramount, but that doesn't appear to be the case when it comes to information like this.

related to this news….

BIG CHANGES headed to college football as we know it….and the SEC & Big Ten will define it.

The two conferences have been given control to define the playoff expansion beginning in 2026 (14 to 16 teams) and to develop future schedules that will include competition during the season between SEC and Big 10 teams.

Both conferences will go to 9 game conference schedukes as well.

It looks like it will definitely wind up being a 16 team playoff instead of a 14 team playoff because there is no new TV money for a 14 team playoff…..but there will be HUGE NEW TV money for a 16 team playoff…..and more money to distribute to playoff teams.

A 16 team playoff would see a 4 team Big 10, four team SEC, 2 team ACC, 2 team Big 12, and 4 team reserve for “the rest” of college football (Group of 5 and others)

Thought I’d hate this…..but I love it

See….at my extended age I don’t hate all changes.

BTW, I think this will wind up being good for Auburn if Hugh Freeze continues to recruit like he has and finds a dominant QB.

None of this is final yet but the summer meeting is just 4-5 months away. It will be finalized at that meeting.

Changes won’t take place until the 2026 season as the 12 team playoff will be the playiff again in 2025.

What do we think President Trump does in the first 30 days?

I am pretty sure he will attack these in the first 30 days

1. Pardon the majority of the Jan 6 folks and get them out of prison if still there
2. Revere the Title IX rules allowing a male to participate in female sports
3. Find a way to Pardon himself and get himself out of all the silly charges against him
4. Do his community service for NY if he cant get out of the stupid shit there.

Thoughts on those 4? Anything I missed?

Vandy gym

Everyone (mostly media) need to quit w/ the Memorial Gym Magic BS. It's an odd gym, yes but only bc the benches are at the end of the court. It's not harder to shoot in, esp compared a dome which is where a lot of Final 4's are played. It's not like Cameron Indoor or Phog Allen, it's freaking Vandy. Fishback and the other guys wouldn't shut up about that stupid gym

Updated NET results

14-2 Quad 1, 8-2 Quad 1A. Mizzou (H) at 16 is knocking on the door of a Quad 1A win, as is Vandy (A) at 41. Either of those flipping would tie us for most Quad 1A wins ever. We’re 3-0 in Quad 2, and I think all 3 of those might’ve been Quad 1 wins at the time we played (USCe, LSU, OU). LSU and OU are somewhat close to Quad 1 territory still, with LSU needing to go from 82-75 in the NET and OU 52-50. Of our remaining 6 regular season games, 3 are Quad 1A, 1 Quad 1, and 2 Quad 2. I’m pretty sure KU holds the record for most Quad 1 wins in a season at 17.

Pink Floyd Appreciation Thread

This is inspired by some Pink Floyd discussion we had on the Brain Drain after the Vandy game the other night.

We were discussing best song writing duos and I offered up Waters & Gilmour, not as number 1 but just somewhere on list.

@Jay G. Tate commented he liked post Waters Pink Floyd better, which is wild to me.

Now, “High Hopes” is one of my favorite Floyd songs of all time and it of course is on “Division Bell” post Waters. Fantastic song here:

But I have long held the opinion that the run of studio albums Pink Floyd put out in the 70s is the best of all time.

I offer a sample of each below and welcome all discussion and opinion.

Dark Side of the Moon, 1973

Wish You Were Here, 1975

Animals, 1977

The Wall, 1979

If memory serves (probably doesn’t), Dark Side was closer to a full band collaboration but Waters & Gilmour main writers, Wish You Were Here was pretty even split of Waters & Gilmour, Animals was same too but a little more Waters and The Wall was pretty much Waters.

Were you aware that Oates and Bruce took over pretty much the same situations when they were hired?

@bigdanteague

So you don’t deny the facts I see. Just post opinion. Usually when a coach is fired and another coach takes his place the program is in the shitter. Same circumstances when each coach took the job. I agree Bruce has done a phenomenal job. Just not to the level of Oats by any objective measure.
