Haven't listened for a week and a half and thought I would give it a shot, since I normally like it. I have it on for two minutes. They're talking about great college sports traditions and a caller mentions the Army-Navy game. He says a lot of good stuff but then basically says it is great for kids to watch that because Cam Newton is horrible and this is a good counter-balance. It wasn't Greg or Taylor making that comment, but they didn't disagree. And since the Super Bowl they've created an atmosphere where bashing Cam is just part of the show (granted I'm basing this on the Monday after the SB, comments Greg made and these two minutes).
So we have horrible allegations regarding Peyton, but Cam is still the go-to whipping boy. "Sexual assault and HGH? Well, at least he didn't pout in a press conference! Let's bash Cam!"
I know I care too much. I just wish Auburn football and basketball weren't such a mess. Stuff like that probably wouldn't bother me as much.
