depends on if they induce therapeutic hypothermia or not. also, i’d be interested to know if he’s on pressors or anti-arrhythmics.Thank goodness. I’d expect him to be extubated by morning assuming he’s responding well under sedation.
Wife seemed to think they'd cool him down to give his heart a chance to restdepends on if they induce therapeutic hypothermia or not. also, i’d be interested to know if he’s on pressors or anti-arrhythmics.
Here’s to hoping a quick response from the on-site paramedics prevented any long term consequences of hypoxia. Receiving oxygen and quick CPR will hopefully lead to a quicker recovery now that he’s stabilized from a vitals standpoint and he has a secure airway.depends on if they induce therapeutic hypothermia or not. also, i’d be interested to know if he’s on pressors or anti-arrhythmics.
That’s what I was wondering. If he had no oxygen to the brain for 8-9ish minutes. Just unreal freak accident.I'd have to think brain damage from lack of oxygen becomes the biggest concern now?
it’s SOP with a defibrillated arrhythmia when the patient doesn’t wake up immediately after.Wife seemed to think they'd cool him down to give his heart a chance to rest
He’s his marketing rep and friend, and has been vouched for by a number of people. Is this a reliable source? @crococile22
Luckily, the CPR started almost immediately. That’s what I was wondering. If he had no oxygen to the brain for 8-9ish minutes. Just unreal freak accident.
Who knows man. I think we’ve all seen more positive updates in the last hour than we expected, and if these are credible people putting out this information, the kid is a hell of a fighter and I’m not counting anything out yet…I'd have to think brain damage from lack of oxygen becomes the biggest concern now?
I don’t think they were performing CPR for that long. Could be wrong though.Luckily, the CPR started almost immediately.
The guy says he’s Demar’s marketing rep.Yeah, who is this guy?

If they got a pulse after a couple cycles of cpr, they would’ve stopped. But not the o2 of course.I don’t think they were performing CPR for that long. Could be wrong though.
That is protocol. 24 hoursWife seemed to think they'd cool him down to give his heart a chance to rest
Is it a fact they did cpr for 9 min?If they got a pulse after a couple cycles of cpr, they would’ve stopped. But not the o2 of course.
Aikman and Buck said cpr was performed feverishly for 9 minutes. At some point an AED was used as well according to reports. Is it a fact they did cpr for 9 min?

So maybe not full blown cpr for 9 min. My niece came out of the womb with her heart stopped. Cpr 20 min. Dr said she wouldn’t make it thru the night and if she did, there would be serious brain damage. She made it thru the night and brain scans two days later showed no brain damage. About to turn 23. No problems. Biggest miracle I’ve ever witnessed. They said “they were working on him for 9 min, and we were told they administered CPR”

I have no idea. I was referring to cpr no being administered very long. They would’ve stopped as soon as a pulse was present. Firefighter/medic here.Is it a fact they did cpr for 9 min?
