Was reading their rivals bourde and they’re an interesting bunch. Seems like they’re split 50/50 on Arnold between people that think he’s a talented kid that got a raw deal at OU/want to see him succeed at Auburn and people who want him to legit ESAD and are very vocal about it. Only bourde where I’ve read a poaster wish legitimate physical injury on a player because he entered the porthole and went to a different school. Regardless it sounds like JA was thrown in the spin cycle this year with a horrible OC, poor leadership/support from Venables waffling over the QB situation, and a lack of weapons to get the ball to.
Also far more behind Venables as HC then I expected them to be, there are a few that are pessimistic but most are doing some sunshine pumping that would make @ricedp105 blush. They read as a very conspiratorial and entitled fanbase. Venables is cooked imo, sounds like another case of a defensive guy that just wants to chew ass and coach ball that is in over his head with the whole managing a program/staff/roster part of being the head coach. IMO we would’ve ate him alive had he taken the Auburn job.
