My youngest son has yet to have a pair of glasses make it more than two weeks, Mayne one made it a month. If it's not him it's our stupid dog, but unfortunately I love them both. So getting rid of either of them is not an option.
I'm thinking about buying sport googles or safety glasses for him to wear at home.
Right now I'm literally spending about $200-400 a month on Eyewear and it's a bit much. My local eye care center loves us.
Instead of enjoying my retirement it's as if I'm spending 1/2 my time dealing with his glasses issues. It has impacted both my fishing and golf time. He's not old enough for contacts.
At worst I'll get him 4 or 5 cheap pairs so i don't have to waste any of my time when they break. If I'm being honest the time bothers me more than the money and the money pisses me off.
