A friend of mine is ordering Ivermectin online

Like...the vaccine? Kidding, but only kinda.

Absolutely. I've seen several folks who had reservations about the new vaccines, but once the propaganda, FUD was turned up, it created enough desperation for them to overcome their concerns and get vaccinated. For others, it took a bit more, and when they saw someone close to them die, they became desperate enough to take it.

There are yet others out there who are indeed desperate, but they probably see drugs like HCQ and Ivermectin, (for which we have TONS of usage data), as being less risky than the new vaccines, (for which we have NO usage data outside of the short-term).

That's just my opinion, so I could be wrong, but IMHO, it's logical. It's unfortunate that they don't understand that the dosage for a large animal like a horse or cow is going to be FAR larger than the dosages prescribed for humans by medical doctors. If any of these drugs help us kick COVID's behind, then bump the politics, and let's use them, instead of forcing everyone to use a single tool, (mRNA vaccine), or just tell us why you feel everyone should use that singular tool.

No Stomp. It just says that there are a lot of folks out there who are super desperate to protect themselves, but they see a risky solution like that as being safer than the mRNA vaccine.

Yea, the vaccines are much safer, idiot.

Desperate people will do desperate things. This goes for both patients and physicians.

Our local physicians are so overrun right now that they are throwing anything and everything at the virus. It's been a tough week for many in the medical field.

Ivermectin isn't going to save everyone, I've seen cases where it did not have any noticeable benefit. There are a lot of pieces to the puzzle and without adequate supply of some of those pieces, nothing will help. Zinc is one of those pieces. Inflammation decreases zinc levels so people with chronic inflammation will have a higher risk of complications. Vitamin D is similar. Levels over 55 ng/ml seem to be associated with less severity and COVID. The lower your Vitamin D level, the higher the severity. I have a long list of OTC items that can be beneficial. Some are common, some are unusual.

Were most of the cases where Ivermectin was ineffective, cases where it was administered very early, very late, in the middle, or did that not seem to matter?

I do not know. I know multiple people on the vent right now and their family just said they had been on it. It's hard to pry when they have a loved one in ICU on the vent.

I certainly understand that you can't dig, but that info is ab-solutely important in understanding whether it might be impactful. As expected, it seems that most of these types of treatments have to be delivered early on in the process.
