Bari Weiss on Martha McCallum - sums it all up perfectly

“No Governor or a mayor can prevent 100mph winds

LA is paradise, but it is built to burn

But the reality is that LA and CA is being governed by people who have lost sight of the basics of governing

We pay you taxes so that you provide us basic services

We now have to pay for private security on top of paying enormous taxes for police, who don’t respond for hours.

They spend more on homeless initiatives and DEI than the basics. Cut $17m from fire budget, don’t replace aging water mains, etc

The leaders prioritize niche luxury issues over basics

Catastrophes happen, but leadership requires meeting the moment. Giuliani didn’t prevent WTC from falling down, but he stepped up afterwards.”

I’ll add that that Democrats nationwide, who once dubbed themselves the “Party of Good Governing” are now totally incompetent and governance because they haven’t had any hostile questioning at all from the press for over 30 years.

What do we think President Trump does in the first 30 days?

I am pretty sure he will attack these in the first 30 days

1. Pardon the majority of the Jan 6 folks and get them out of prison if still there
2. Revere the Title IX rules allowing a male to participate in female sports
3. Find a way to Pardon himself and get himself out of all the silly charges against him
4. Do his community service for NY if he cant get out of the stupid shit there.

Thoughts on those 4? Anything I missed?

5 Bowl games today & tonight involving 4….

mediocre SEC teams….but at least they won 6 or more games….

I don’t know if it’s as nasty in Birmingham today as it is Huntsville but if it is, I guess I’m thankful we’re not playing in it…

Have to look for positives where you can find them these days…..

C’mon,Hugh…..spend even more $$$$$$$$$$$ and let’s resemble a SEC football team and program next year…

AL.com article on Auburn grad…

who lost his life in NO with a link to their story on the 18 year old Bama student who did as well…

Hard to understand.
