Where are they now?

I wish Rivals would occasionally do a "where are they now?" article about players from the past.

Since they don't, I thought I would take a (feeble) stab at it. Re our team from 2005 I learned:
Ben Obomanu is now an attorney in Washington State
Deven Aromashodu is a "loan orginator"
Will Herring is a loan officer for home loans
Kenny Irons Is an 'entrepeneur" and guest speaker
Lee Guess was head coach for Pinson Valley HS until resigned in '23.
Karibi Dede has a PhD and is a coach at NC at Charlotte

I came across a lot of dead ends for other players before giving up. If you know of more players, from this or other classes, we'd love to hear it. It is nice to think most of our players have had a satisfying post-football life.

I know there is recency bias in play ...

but goodness kids these days often seem to totally lack any common sense.

My daughter had choir practice last night. When she came out, there was one of the children in the choir, 16 yo, sitting by the door. She was upset bc she had been late before and director told her if she was late again she'd lose her spot.

Anyhow, she had gotten there about 5 min after practice began, pulled on the door and it was locked, so she started crying and just sat down next to the wall, sat there for 1:20 until everyone else came out.

She never tried the other door. It was open the whole time.

Early Morning Brackets

looking like Auburn is in the range of 2nd 4seed to last 3seed. probably expect a 4seed at this point

most common first round sites = Spokane or Salt Lake City. a lot like our 2019 time, trip out west. the big talking last yime we went to SLC = high altitude and harder breathing with short turn around. makes first game awkward

most common regional = Midwest regional, seen a couple east regionals and very few south regionals

THE RUNDOWN PRESENTED BY VOODOO WING COMPANY (3/12/24)
Bryan Matthews, Caleb Jones, Brian Stultz and Jay G. Tate reconvene at Voodoo to discuss the important happenings in and around the Auburn program, which includes the first week of spring football and the end of Auburn's Under Armour era?

Spring ball resumes Tuesday (today), so what will we be looking for? Quarterbacks, of course. It's always quarterbacks. There are some other guys worthy of regard, too.

Apparel deal? Auburn is closing in on a deal with Nike, but don't get ready to buy those new Bo Barkey Big Hurt Jordan XIIs just yet. The university's deal with Under Armour runs through June 2025.

The guys also take a look back at Bruce Pearl's entire regular season of work and marvel at the progress shown in several areas. This team's new-found ability to work inside-out may be a game change. B-Matt has raised his expectations as a result.

Coach Jonnie's girls are on the NCAA Tournament bubble, but Caleb thinks they're in.

Baseball had a mostly successful weekend while softball struggled a bit more. Sunday events were good on both fronts, however.

The show ends with a juicy slab of commendations and shoutouts for the most outstanding members (this week) from The Bunker community. It's only been a few days since our last show, but the Bunker Never Stops Giving.

The show is presented by VooDoo Wing Company with locations in Auburn, Mobile, Tuscaloosa, Florence, Charlotte and Las Vegas. Check them out IN PERSON for delicious chicken or on the web at www.voodoowingco.com.
