Let’s say your AD is on the committee

Let’s say your record is a very modest 21-11 and you come in a T2nd in the SEC.

Let’s say you get beat in your first game in the SEC Tournament and your #1 rival won the tournament.

Let’s say you have a poor Quad 1 record of 4-10.

Let’s say your #1 rival beat you by 18 at their place and you beat them by 4 at yours.

Let’s say you are rated #14 by KenPom and EvanMiya and your #1 rival is rated #4 and #3.

Let’s say you lost 4 of your last 6 games and your #1 rival won their last 6 games.

Let’s say you are somehow given a 4 seed and your #1 rival is also given a 4 seed.


So would you say it is a coincidence that your team gets seeded in the easiest bracket and your eventual game against a #1 seed is the easiest #1 seed and your #1 rival is seeded against the #1 ONE seed ?

Is it a coincidence that the #2 seed in your bracket has lost 8 games AND you have already played them ?

Is it a coincidence that your S16 opponent is someone you have already played ?

Or would you say it is a fact that your AD made sure you were put into this bracket ?

Got run into from behind on 280 yesterday and boy am I sore today. I was stopped behind a long line of traffic and looked in my rearview mirror and thought that car isn't going to make it, I had maybe one or two seconds to brace for impact . He hit me and then shoved my car into the car in front of me, it was like two wrecks in one. My head was going both directions and ended up hitting my forehead on the roof of the car. Had the worst head ache yesterday, but just sore today. Guy that hit me told me he was on his GPS putting an address in, said he wouldnt do that anymore, I mean its not possible to drive and do both with out putting somebody in harms way.

Only one (1) shot in 40 minutes that was NOT a 3-point shot or a shot within 3 feet of the basket/backboard. That was a missed 8 foot shot from the left side of the key.

That was an incredible night of executing Oat’s system of only wanting to take 3-point shots, layups, dunks, or put backs and to take zero midrange shots.

Then I went back and looked at the shot chart when they played and lost to UConn 82-67 in November of 2022.

A different story…several midrange attempts/misses and fewer 3-point attempts….they held Sears to 5 points and Brandon Miller to 18.

If bammer is to beat THIS UConn team next Saturday they will have will have to earn it; the Huskies know how to defend against this system and who to defend.

UConn opened last evening as an -11 point favorite and it’s - 11.5 right now.

1. Cam Coleman was a freak today and is a freak. Showed out

2. Depending on who you ask, Payton Thorne looked much better than the others, as he should with the experience.

3. Defense had one of its best days, if not the best, of spring practice. Really getting to the ball and making plays.

I had a small garden 2 years ago that did ok. Didn't do one last year, but am going to start one in the next week. Pretty basic. Probably tomatoes, squash , cucumbers and maybe 1 more item

Because honestly, I wouldn't fire Bruce and I wouldn't fire Hugh. Our NIL is in a great spot, we are being relatively judicious about how we spend money on facilities and we are in the midst of negotiating a contract with Nike (or its a done deal or whatever).

So what would you change? How can we possibly do anything to get better? Bruce is THE best basketball coach this school will ever have. It isn't close. Hugh is leagues better at roster building and recruiting than Gus or harsin. He also has potential to be the best coach we've had in 20+ years, he obviously needs some time.

The only thing I can think of on the football front is I'm probably finding Hugh a blank check for a QB, at this point I bet he regrets not paying whoever his top guy was this off-season whatever he wanted.

Ironically this is why I'm so depressed, because we're doing all the right things to me, we've got all the right guys in place, and we suck.
