Yo, Billy Big Rig

@AuburnProud. Props to you brother. I have read some of the hauls you make and after making the piss ant trip I did this weekend, my respect level for what you and others in your profession do has increased. I was white knuckled, sweatin bullets and praying that the potholes were able to be straddled.

Pulled a 32 ft trailer with a 28ft boat from Wilmington, NC to Wetumpka, AL. The best thing I can say about the roads most of the time? They weren’t dirt. Otherwise most of them in the right lane SUCK!!!

Big time props to you. I’d prolly be in prison if I had to drive what you do.

Conference expansion question.......

How does Texas/Oklahoma change the overall dynamic of the SEC for football and basketball? Are we about to see a reshuffling? It's not exactly the best time to be breaking in a new HC....... or is it? I don't think we will know for sure for several years, but what teams plummit and what teams rise due to the changes? Who benefits?

I'm guessing the money players rise and the rest fall. I could see Texas and TAMU rising. Jimbo's gone, and TAMU is recruiting well. That's going to be a fun rivalry to watch again. Who's willing to spend during this transition?

SOFTBALL Auburn gets first SEC series win...

Auburn pulled off quite the upset this weekend, taking two out of three in a road series against No. 6 LSU.

GAME 1 (W 3-2)
  • Auburn trailed 2-1 entering the sixth inning but tied the game on an Axe Milanowski RBI single, before capitalizing on an LSU error in the seventh inning to take a 3-2 lead.
  • Shelby Lowe pitched 4.1 innings of five-hit softball, where the only runs against her were from a 2-run HR in the bottom of the fourth.
  • Maddie Penta closed the game out with two shutout innings.
GAME 2 (L 2-0)
  • Auburn was no-hit by LSU's Kelley Lynch.
GAME 3 (W 3-1)
  • Shelby Lowe had her best outing of the year, pitching a complete game and giving up one run on three hits.
  • Auburn scored all three runs in the fourth inning, as Annabelle Widra had a two-RBI single and Skylar Elkins scored on a double steal later in the inning.

RECRUITING Decision day for…

2025 QB Husan Longstreet. This is a tight battle between Texas A&M and Auburn.

Both sides have reasons to have high confidence, but as of this morning, Auburn feels good. Now, so does Texas A&M, so keep that in mind.

Decision is expected at 4 p.m. CST.

My prediction? It’s too close to call. Still 50/50 split between A&M and AU.
