Talking to Auburn's two best players from the game:
Asked about Kent State's zone that flummoxed Auburn for a bit, Johni: "We got some looks we wanted and we just couldn't make a shot. Credit them, they were flying around making it harder, but we've got to make shots."
Chaney went nuts: He starts by thanking God and says he was making shots.
Chaney said that he knew he was going to have fill the hole Jaylin left in the offseason and said he's learned to be more confident.
Johni Broome: "We take pride in our defense... we worry more about or defense than our offense because that'll come."
Johni on Tahaad: "He's not scared of the moment."
Chaney: "Credit to us on the defensive end because even if we're not making shots, our defense can carry us."
Johni on Chaney: "Every time I come in here I preach about how well he's playing in here." Mentioned that he played one-on-one with Chaney a lot and knew how good he is and just wanted him to play with confidence.
That's all for those two
