QB Development under Corch HEW

What if I told you that 2024 Payton Thorne is the best HEW Freeze QB to have ever existed while being coached by him? Would that be something you would like more information on?

Bo Wallace

2014*22938160.13194225.8143.78.47.8813.9245.7142.2

In terms of development, there isn't much there to suggest Bo took any giant steps forward. Maybe he maintained a high floor of consistency, but that didn't help him get to the NFL. Not drafted and cut in minicamp.

Chad Kelly

201629347362.53984245.8112.48.48.4713.5306.4147.4

Kelly took some notable steps back in year 2 under Corch HEW. Kelly did find himself drafted in the 7th round... picked last in the NFL draft. From all I can tell, he appeared once in a game to take a kneel.

Stephen Calvert

2019*24943157.83663286.571.68.514.7281.8147.4

2019 is the First Year for Hugh at Liberty.... You can see some clear improvement with Calvert in the 1st year with HEW. But this is where growth seems to stop...

malik Willis

2021*20733961.12862278123.58.413.8220.2151.2

Willis puts up some better counting stats due to throwing more passes in Year 2, but the quality dips in both Comp% and Rating. I have a hard time coming to the conclusion that Willis got better in year 2. Willis was drafted in the 3rd round. That is significant.

While Payton's usage numbers are less than what the Ole Miss QBs did under Corch HEW, he is slightly better in Passer Rating. He is also doing more with what he is being asked to do with is reps. Payton is clearly the most improved QB that HEW has coached. This is what it is.... Welcome to the circus.

And I know Rice will say... but Kaidon Salter... He did actually improve as a passer..... under Corch Jamey Chadwell.

Folks, it appears we hired the wrong Liberty Head Football Coach.

LAMP: My son is a Melton Scholarship recipient

My son was a recipient of a Melton Scholarship this weekend. (Third from the left). It’s $10K per year, which is great.

Of course the exhibition basketball game benefits this scholarship. So big thanks to Bruce Pearl and all those who supported. They had a presentation on Friday night as well.

UNITY

What a beautiful end of campaign message. While the other side continues to push their message of hate and divisiveness, calling half of Americans "garbage" and their political opponents Nazis (directly leading to multiple assassination attempts), one side is working to pull America closer together. Also great to see the Republican party in such great hands with the youth movement of Vivek and Vance.

What a bright future laid out before us.

Does the loser

Pitch a fit like last time in the election? I don't have any reason to believe Trump wouldn't do it again. I'm afraid that the democrats will do the same this go around. I don't think they'll have an easy time admitting defeat to Trump if that were to happen. I guess a better question is-- do we get over the childish antics of these last 8 years, or is this just how politics is gonna look from now on with the clickbait social media and echo chamber twitter feeds turning people into political zombies?

Vandy Punter was key to there win and PT ?

The Vandy punter should be SEC special team player of the week. He killed us with three kicks over 60 yards and teo of those flipped the field completely. He had two land n side the five and i think another inside the 10.

PT- his long throw to CC was a bad call or he should have focused on shorter route. He was tackled at the one and u could clearly see he was hurt.

I knew when he missed the big TE throw we were gonna have to fight all day for decent QB play. His TD RF was a terrible throw - RF bailed him out.

PT reminds me of the players that always have good stats at first glance but never to amount to wins.

LAST I AM TIRED OF THE HOME FIELD 4th QT and Auburn is a tough place to play.
Its not right NOW. We lost that MoJo on the 4- and 31
