To lose the games we’ve lost:
Cal - had a pick six and our cornerback couldn’t catch it to give us momentum + 5 turnovers
Arkansas - got momentum, then gave up a 3rd and 10, 3rd and 19, and finally a 3rd and 26 for a TD
Oklahoma - up 11 in the 4th with the ball in Oklahoma territory
Mizzou - up 11 end of the 3rd quarter with the ball near the mizzou 5. Horrible play call to have Thorne throw on 2nd down, then kicker misses a chip shot 30 yarder. Then at the end of the game we give up a third at 17 to make it a manageable 4th and 5, which we don’t stop. Then give up a 3rd and 10, where they might have kicked a field goal to tie if we did stop it.
Our offense is embarrassing, and I know our defense is youngish, but it might be the least clutch defense I’ve ever seen. Every game we’ve needed a clutch stop, we haven’t gotten it. I hate this team more than any team I’ve ever watched. Even 2012 straight up just gave up and I didn’t have to watch.
