Dude swam around Great Britain. He's on Shark Fest right now.
He swam from June to November 2018 (157 days). He swam 1,792 miles. He did 6 hours in the water and 6 hours at rest on support boat. When he was on the boat he had to eat 15,000 calories a day. The salt water eventually began disintegrating his tongue, he developed "Rhino Neck", and his feet flattened out.
So on this show he wanted to see how he stacked up to tiger sharks who will fast for long periods of time and then take up to 250,000 calories in a single feeding. So he lifted and excercised for 24 hrs straight with zero food or water. He lost 14 lbs in 24 hours. Then he ate 30,000 calories the next 24 hours. He added 22 lbs during that time period. Pretty crazy.
This is after swimming Loch Ness for charity. He finally succumbed to hypothermia and cellulitis.
How do humans like this even exist? It borders on super powers.
