I was a long time rider on the Gus bus, but jumped off Saturday night.
I don't hate Gus, I don't hate Rhett or any of the coaches. I hope they succeed. but we can't run the same offense we ran in 2013 & 2014. We damn sure can't run the 2015 offense. We have to CHANGE. Gus can no longer be stubborn.
I could still get back on the bus, but he must let Sean White succeed or fail. I think he succeeds, but Gus has to start throwing the ball on 1st & 2nd down some. He needs to start this against Arkansas State and not wait. This team must find an identity. Yes we can beat Arkansas State running the ball. But we need to beat them throwing the ball. Building some timing with the receivers. Letting a different offense get in a groove.
I have this gut feeling telling me we are going to run the ball, tailback up the middle, 90% of the time against Ark State. And, I shake my head side-to-side.
