One is 19000 people crammed into an indoor arena chanting lock her up and a bunch of other dumb shit like a professional wrestling show. The protests were outside. That’s the only difference I’ve got.

I will say I was surprised social distancing wasn’t made a bigger issue with the protests. It’s like that concern was forgotten for a while.

Doc I am not for either but both will do us a lot of good. So having complete lunatics in an a arena or out roaming the streets ends up positive. The problem is the tracking will be impossible but we can see if we have a large up tick in cases. We can compare the two instances and see if the indoors has a big effect against outdoors. Also we will continue to see if getting out, even though we get infected, and staying away from nursing homes is not as dangerous as thought.

You know why one is okay, it is hidden as a protest against something no one is trying to support but everyone wants to claim is there. The real protest is for BLM to get more money and power. Which no one is against for the people, just not for the organization.

Coach look at the timing of all this shit this year. It’s like there is an election going on and they don’t like one of the candidates. They also cancelled #metoo bc it no longer fit their narrative.

Doc there are medical journal articles that state you can't contract or spread COVID-19 during a protest, riot, or general looting. However, there is medical evidence that supports the claim that you can contract and spread COVID-19 attending Trump rallies, church, school, or going to work. Please get current on your medical literature review. Thanks in advance.

A bit of hyperbole here, but maybe no less outrageous than some of the statements made in the letter regarding the protests and COVID-19 signed by over 1200 medical professionals...

"Staying at home, social distancing, and public masking are effective at minimizing the spread of COVID-19. To the extent possible, we support the application of these public health best practices during demonstrations that call attention to the pervasive lethal force of white supremacy," the letter says.

"However, as public health advocates, we do not condemn these gatherings as risky for COVID-19 transmission. We support them as vital to the national public health and to the threatened health specifically of Black people in the United States. We can show that support by facilitating safest protesting practices without detracting from demonstrators' ability to gather and demand change. This should not be confused with a permissive stance on all gatherings, particularly protests against stay-home orders."

I have heard TONS of television heads discussing this. So much so that I turned the News off because I’m tired of the he said-she said with the virus. No news for me since last week. It works!
