I quit my job in insurance a year ago to go back to school for electrical engineering while my wife was in school for nursing. It was the best move for my future career, but made for a brutal 2016 financially. I can't count how many peanut butter and jelly sandwiches I ate this year.
But in the past month, I received an awesome job offer that allows me to go to school full-time, and I got to watch my wife graduate from nursing school last week which was my greatest moment.
