This is what I can't understand. We looked really good in our first game of the season. That's usually the game most teams struggle in as they try to figure out roles and work out all the kinks. We didn't commit but a couple penalties, no interceptions, just a couple fumbles that didn't really matter. The offense was crisp and everyone was on the same page.
Then in games 2-4 it's like some people forgot how to play football.
What is the cause of them looking so good to start the season but then falling flat in the very next game and every game since? Is it that they practiced their game plan for a few weeks leading into the first game and after that they weren't as prepared or the plan wasn't as drilled in to the players? Is it that Alabama A&M really is just that bad and we're just not that good against any team with a pulse? I just don't know how to grasp scoring 73 points in the first game and then have trouble doing anything from week two onward. Haskins' teams did this too. We'd look good and in sync game 1 but fall flat in week 2 and beyond.
