I haven’t cared much about college basketball for most of my life (43). Grew up in Alabama, raised in college football. Moved to the Charlotte area in 2012, one (of several) reasons why we moved to the SC side of the border was that we were surrounded by college football fans. The basketball fans in NC were weird. Well, I think college basketball may be more fun than college football. More games, mid-week action, and if you lose 1-2 games, your season isn’t over. We’ve had some great Auburn football seasons in my lifetime, but few of them have been as fun as the 2019 final four run was. I’m not sure what is happening, but I think I may be becoming a college basketball fan over football. Would seek a support group but I don’t know that I want one.
