Took his left away and harassed the hell out of him off the 3 line and all over the floor. Great game plan and execution. They made five 3's and 3 of them were 28 footers. They didn't shoot it poorly from 3. We forced it. They didn't have 5 good looks all night because we took it away from them all night. In the pace and chaos of that game it was incredibly impressive because both teams are loaded with players and the action was non-stop.

Broome got us off on the right foot with the big 3's and fadeaway early. He had a lull late second half, but we finished on 7-0 run in spite of shooting it really poorly to close the half. We refused to let them score and went into the half with an important lead.

We all worried Aden would turn into a player over there and losing Philon hurt some. They're good players and still don't hold a candle to the value that Pettiford brings to this team. He's just a winner and a fantastic pressure player. He was so freaking great in the 2nd half. Clutch, smooth, and a leader. We're in great shape at guard and I love him at the 1. Defensively, Aden showed what a liability he is and I thought TP was fantastic on defense in this one.

We have so many pieces and I could talk all night about multiple players, but I think Chaney Johnson is becoming our X factor. He's playing some great ball right now and making this team even more dangerous.

On the officiating and CBM. They let them play all night and although there were calls and no-calls I didn't like, I thought it mostly evened out until it got inside of 5 minutes. It was a complete shit show on the CBM flagrant. He got tackled out of bounds and threw a harmless open hand shot to the head of the linebacker taking him down and he's the only bad guy in this scenario? I ranted after the uga game about the ridiculous way replay is used to stop a clock, but not used to properly start it on the same play. If they're going to use replay to find "flagrant" fouls on one player, can you not also use it find it on a player for physically shoving a player out of bounds? I don't understand how it can't work both ways, or how what the bama player did isn't flagrant, too. And objectively, Pat Adams is a clown of an official. Bilas even subtly commented on his incompetence on the same review. "How do you not know if they're in the bonus?" LOL!

Great win, and very important for seeding. I think we're going to win the SEC reg and be the overall 1 seed! We'll be a favorite to win it all and won't be exiting first weekend as long as we stay healthy. WDE!!!
