On the surface you’ve got #19 Mizzou (5-1, 1-1) at home against unranked Auburn (2-4, 0-3)… Mizzou should be a big favorite.
Instead the line is sitting at Mizzou -4 which is basically a pick em on a neutral field.
We have played a significantly tougher schedule so far and anytime they’ve played teams with a pulse (Boston College, Vandy, and @Texas A&M) they’re 2-1 with a combined score of 67-89. Sneaking past Vandy and Boston College at home are their only “marquee” wins this year. Fair to call out that Auburn has a total of ZERO marquee wins this year but it also could be said that out of a bye we are probably a better team than both Boston College and Vandy.
Backs against the wall, this is a must win to salvage anything of the season. And get past this one we will have a winnable game @UK and another winnable game at home vs Vandy before a bye and then UL-Monroe.
