40mg of Percocet is not keeping her pain down. Dr is putting her on a 15mg long lasting Morphine pill to take twice a day.
My mom bluntly asked the dr yesterday “how much time do I have?” He told her he didn’t like to put a time on someone’s life because honestly he never thought she would make the 4 years that she has. Colon, to lymph nodes, to esophagus, to lung, that is a lot on the human body and spirit.
My question, if it isn’t too personal is who has dealt with this morphine pill before? Is this the beginning of the end? Is this the last step before hospice? My mom is a fighter. She is the toughest person I know. She has an electric mower and cuts her own grass as well as edges and weed eats.
