uat is quietly bleeding out their current talent. They've basically lost an entire recruiting class this portal cycle. In this portal window, so far:
AU lost 3 top-250 guys, none of whom were in the 2-deep (Burton, Walker W, Darron Reed)
Both schools signed great HS classes this year. The big change is that uat lost 24 to the portal this time, and so far have only signed 6. AU has pulled in a ton of talent in the portal.

- uat has had 24 players portal, 11 (!) were in their 2-deep.
- They’ve lost four 5-stars, and sixteen 4-stars. That's almost a 3rd of their blue chip players from the 2024 roster, not counting graduating players.
- They’ve lost 21 top 250 players, and 12 top 100 players.
