UT is better than I gave them credit for, or they played their best game of the year versus Auburn, or both. I’m leaning towards both.
Bruce doesn’t trust Haad defensively.
We still have no true PG. We have two shooting guards playing point. They’re talented enough to pull it off versus nearly all our opponents. Not sure there is another squad on the slate that has the ability to really shut down our production there.
UT’s perimeter defense was only exceeded by ..: Auburn’s perimeter D.
Dylan didn’t play much in the 2nd half for the same reason Haad didn’t play - Bruce didn’t trust him to stay in front of their guards on the perimeter…and knew he’d be a target to be hacked since he can’t shoot FT.
We had many open looks from 3 but it was mental we just didn’t hit and it snowballed. Kelly had ice in his veins tho.
LSU is capable at home. Hope we don’t have a letdown there.
