Geriner in after Robby is injured. Missouri shows a five man front and initially rushes three. One LB follows Hunter out of the backfield. Zierer handles his man on this play, although I'm guessing he had a rough day overall. Troxell struggles, but doesn't totally get beat by his man. The interior three all move right and lock up three-on-one with the Missouri NG while the Red Sea parts for the other Missouri LB to have a straight shot at Geriner. He rushes and gets the sack.
This group has never been better than serviceable. Even with all of their experience they've somehow managed to regress under this staff and Friend. They aren't a physically talented bunch, but you'd expect they would have assignment football down by now. We are seeing some of the worst OL play in AU history. We can't run and they don't protect. I'd be surprised if we hit 20 points in any remaining games. All will be losses including WKY.
