We have lost games this season for a myriad of different reasons. Mostly notably turning the ball over. We lost this game because of Hugh Freeze.
That’s the most scared I think I’ve ever seen a coach call plays. Hugh was as uptight and nervous as you can possibly be. And it directly impacted how we played. We were trying to run the clock out the entire 4th quarter. Thorne carried the ball 11 times and I bet 7 of them were in the last 10 minutes. Just pathetic. They were DARING us to throw it. Talk some confidence into the guys and let them go play free. We were 2-4, absolutely nothing to lose.
