Since March 4 (when we played TAMU), Auburn is ranked as the 38th best team in the nation. In that same window, Creighton is ranked 27th.
We need to reverse some trends big time.
We lost to TAMU, Alabama, Tennessee. and beat Ole Miss.
They beat Seton Hall, Butler, Depaul, and UConn, while losing to St. John's. They averaged 78 ppg while giving up 69. In that window, they have the 9th best offense in the country.
Granted, their best win in that stretch was UConn (currently #33).
If they play their best and we play like we have been playing lately, they will win.
However, I am counting on our defense rising up and playing the way we are capable of. Hopefully we will see Johni and Chad attacking and not settling.
