Individual time trial today in Marseilles - started and ended inside the Velodrome there. That made for an interesting venue with thousands inside the Velodrome cheering the riders on. Bora Hansgrohe rider Maciej Bodnar won the stage with a strong time trial.

Even though Chris Froome didn't win the stage, he crushed his two closest GC contenders. He put even more time between him and Rigo Uran and Romain Bardet. Bardet had an especially poor time trial, losing almost 2 minutes to Froome. Froome started the TT after Bardet, but almost caught him at the finish line (it's quite the embarrassment to get caught by the rider behind you in a time trial). Uran lost about 30 additional seconds to Froome, but moved into second place b/c of Bardet's poor ride.

The Tour finishes up tomorrow with the usual ride into Paris. Traditionally, the Yellow Jersey is not attacked on the final day, but there may still be some drama. Bardet is only 1 second ahead of Froome's teammate Mikel Landa. A small mistake by Bardet could cost him his place on the podium and place a second Team Sky rider on the podium. Uran will finish second.

Micheal Matthews has wrapped up the green jersey; Warren Barguil the KOM; Simon Yates the white. Froome has won his fourth Tour.
