I am taking my step son to visit AU tomorrow for an overall tour of the school and Engineering dept. I am an Alum and we live in GA where he goes to school at Buford HS. I wanted to look up the out of state tuition/acceptance criteria, and after a quick google search found some interesting facts that I had no idea about.

- GPA: Auburn considers GPA to be a very important academic factor. The school average GPA is 4.07.
- High school class rank: Considered by admissions officials.
- Letters of recommendation: Considered by admissions officials when available.
- In fall 2023, Auburn received a record number of applications, with over 48,000 freshmen applications.
- 44% of early action applicants were accepted.
- The average ACT score was 28.2.
