This game is seemingly so forgotten that I can't even find it on YouTube. And it's rare when I'm not able to do that.
It was the first Auburn game after 9/11. As a terrified kid of 13 years old, I was scared that there would be another terrorist attack right there in the Carrier Dome. Instead we just got our asses kicked 31-14 and some hack named Terry Mungro ran for 525 yards on 98 carries.
Did anyone attend this game? What was the atmosphere like? Any stories?
