Here are some things I'm hearing about a couple different players through some limited spring practice.
- DL transfers Gage Keys and Trill Carter are gonna be playmakers this fall and have been really solid thus far.
- Jayson Jones is looking the best he's ever been. Put some work in this offseason and got in better shape.
- Freshman Malik Blocton could develop into a really good player. He's young right now and has plenty to learn, but the potential is there.
- Robert Lewis (Georgia State transfer) is incredibly smart when it comes to his X's and O's, understands the game well and has taken a nice leadership role. Definitely one of the slot guys to watch.
- Walker White is looking sharp on his throws, but needs to find more consistency. If he can lock it in, he's gonna be a dangerous threat when his time comes. He's also more of a run threat than he looks. Deceivingly fast, can get outside and find the edge quick.
- Offensive line looks much improved, not just on the starting front, but the depth behind the starters is coming along as well.
