Looks like today is snake coming out day from all the threads about them.
My question is this.. What is the "preferred" way to kill a snake. I have seen them all my life in West Virginia, but they went their way and I went mine. Never killed one! Did not have them in town where I grew up but now that we are in Alabama.. it's only a matter of time. (actually seen 4 dead ones in 4 years.. 2 on our road and 2 on Acton Rd)
Non venomous snakes get a free pass but copperheads and rattle snakes in the yard will be taken off the count.
Is a hoe long enough or are you still in the strike zone?
If I shoot one with snake shot will I be arrested for shooting a firearm a community? Live in "unincorporated Vestavia" but in a neighborhood type setting.
