37 Year old Veteran with Multiple Sclerosis.
With the help of his mother, they submitted plans for renovations that he received a grant through the VA, to the HOA board. There is a clause in the charter that if there is no response from the board within 30 days then no approval is necessary. They never received a response from the HOA board. So they had a contractor build the fence along with a wheel chair ramp needed and other necessary additions needed for disability access. Now they are messing with him over a privacy fence, that was part of that VA grant.
Now the HOA has started fining him and brought litigation into this. Now he is at risk of losing his home.
If this were my son, especially in his condition with his disability, I hope the HOA President and the Board along with have their affairs and life insurance in order.
