Loved (still do) Whiskeytown & the guy’s first 3-4 solo albums. An unquestionably talented & prolific songwriter. He really started giving off douchebag vibes - to me, anyway - in the mid 2000s, and there were persistent rumors of his sleeping with dozens of guys’ wives in Nashville.
Turns out there’s a much darker side. I’m most interested to see if Jason Isbell puts any space between them publicly.
My prediction: I bet Adams blames booze & mental illness, offers a meek acknowledgment of “mistakes made,” & goes into rehab.
