We got our first look at Auburn's spring practice this morning. Here are some quick notes from @BryanMatthews and myself:

- Starting OL: Izavion Miller (LT), Dillon Wade (LG), Connor Lew (C), DeAndre Carter (RG), Malik Murphy (RT)
- Bradyn Joiner was rotating in at center, Tyler Johnson rotating in at right tackle
- Xavier Chaplin is coming off surgery and didn't participate in the contact stuff
- Deuce Knight connected with Justin Jones on a nice little catch and run on his first possession during the 11-on-11.
- Jackson Arnold led the team down the field on the second possession after a previous INT. He had a nice completion to Horatio Fields and then had completions to Perry Thompson, Preston Howard, another to Fields and then a nice run to cap off the drive.
- Following drive, Deuce Knight connected with Cam Coleman on a short catch and run. Later in the scrimmage, he also connected with Eric Singleton Jr., who showcased his "Ludacris speed," per BMatt.
- Arnold looked more sharp than Deuce Knight, but Arnold also had more time taking first-team reps.
- Deuce looked like he was competing, but still learning the offense.
DEFENSE
- Antonio Coleman spent time working with the defensive ends.
- Kaleb Harris picked off Jackson Arnold during the 11-on-11 period.
- Auburn is rolling out plenty of combos during day one, because well, it's day one. Did not see Keldric Faulk out there for any of the 11-on-11 stuff.

- Combo 3 — CB: Devin Williams, A'Mon Lane-Ganus; SAF: Jahquez Robinson, Paul Thompson Jr.; STAR: Eric Winters; DE Antonio Coleman; DL: Jourdin Crawford, Malik Autry/Darrion Smith; BUCK: Joe Phillips; LB Coleman Granberry, JJ Faulk
- Jackson Arnold threw a nice touchdown pass to freshman WR Sam Turner, who made the catch in double coverage.
- He nearly had another one to Cam Coleman, but Coleman couldn't come up with the catch.
