Update includes framework that will work with future apps that ostensibly will contain your medical data and track your movements, The seemingly innocuous purpose is to alert you if you’ve come into contact with an infected person, but IMO this is a slippery slope when it comes to privacy.
I’m not particularly interested in such surveillance, so I’ve turned automatic updates off on my phone - likely only a stopgap measure.
