Just wanted to throw this out there ahead of the draft. There are approximately 200,000 senior high school football players in a given year. 5 stars make up about .015% of that total. If stars did not matter, then you would expect to see 0.04 five stars drafted on average through the entire draft. That's 1 five star every 25 years!

Approximately 15,000 kids go on to play football in college on average. Of that smaller subset, 5 stars make up about .2%.

If stars didn't matter among athletes who go to college to play football, you would expect about 0.5 five stars to be drafted this year.

Someone feel free to check my math. But no matter how you look at it, you have to either be @ricedp105 or as dumb as him to think stars don't matter
