Does everyone agree? Udub has a good DL and Stid has time to throw, for most of the game.
Other thoughts from Section 226....
* #49 = NFL player. DW, D Brown, D Russell, and Coe played outstanding. MD was average and looked slow, which was surprising.
* Shivers looked more dynamic in a few plays, than Boobie and Martin did for the game. Martin runs too upright and does drive with his legs after initial contact. That will have to change or he will be demoted soon.
* #8 is not seeing the field as well as I had hoped. He missed seeing too many wide open receivers. He connected on several passes in the zone, but he players were open forever (kuddos to OL).
*. Interior OL got no push on the DL. The run game was mediocre at best, with safeties playing deep. They better get that corrected today!
* new DBs were decent, against what I thought were physical and talented WRs. There were several questionable calls, but most were irrelevant (because the catch was still made). Good experience against a great QB and will pay dividends done the road.
* Boobies fair catch kickoff freaked 90% of the fans in the stands. I guess none of us knew the new rule.
