Here's a spot to take a breath. I came across the video of this performance last week and haven't been able to get it out of my head. I like the change in tempo from the studio version and the sax solo is also superior to the original. The bass line and chord structure are reminiscent of an old Jerry Jeff Walker song, "Mr. Bojangles" and Porter's incredible voice has a touch of Ray Charles' influence along with several others.
