In the past year I've been stopped by local police twice. Once for a headlight and once going thru a license check. The time I was actually pulled over, I informed the officer I had a pistol, he told me to get out of the vehicle and I gave him my permit to check. No issues. During the license check I did not tell the office I had a pistol. Mainly because we we on a semi-major highway and there was a line behind me.
My question. Did I do right in both situations or should I have done one differently?
